Use of AI tools for creating image and video content
We use services based on artificial intelligence to create and edit visual content (such as images, graphics, and videos) for our website. This serves our legitimate interest (pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR) in an efficient, modern, and appealing visual design for our online presence.
For this purpose, we use, among others, the AI functions of Canva (provider: Canva Pty Ltd, 110 Kippax St, Surry Hills NSW 2010, Australia) and Sora (provider: OpenAI, L.L.C., 3180 18th St, San Francisco, CA 94110, USA).
When using these tools, the instructions we enter (so-called text prompts) for image or video creation are transmitted to the servers of the respective providers and processed there. We ensure that, by default, no personal data of visitors to our website is processed via these prompts.
Insofar as data is transferred to third countries (e.g. the USA or Australia) during this process, this is done on the basis of suitable safeguards, such as the adequacy decision of the EU Commission (EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework) or the conclusion of EU standard contractual clauses.
