Voting reminder

A voting reminder is simply a message sent to a voter during an election or poll which reminds them that the vote is taking place and how they can participate.

When managing an election, it is important that these details are clearly communicated in a timely fashion to all eligible voters in order to ensure the largest possible voter turnout. A voting reminder can be sent through a number of different channels:

  • by post
  • by SMS
  • over an organization’s internal Intranet
  • by email

At POLYAS, we recommend the use of electronic voting reminders such as emails. By doing so, you’ll be able to save time and money on preparing and printing postal reminders, as well as reducing your organization’s carbon footprint.
